Welcome message

Welcome message

On behalf of the World Stroke Organization, we look forward to welcoming you to the 14th World Stroke Congress in Singapore from 26-29 October 2022, with a limited online component. Many conferences and meetings have had to be shifted to a virtual platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are aiming that the 2022 WSC in Singapore will allow stroke professionals to meet in person after such a long time for an exciting scientific meeting with opportunities for face-to-face interactions.

As some countries might still be experiencing travel restrictions, we will offer a full in-person meeting in Singapore and a limited online event.

This is the first time the WSC is being held in Southeast Asia where over 8.5% of the world’s population reside, and returning to Asia after 6 years. Singapore is a vibrant city-nation which is an exciting tourist destination known as a food and shopping haven, and is a transport hub with many travel connections.

The program for the 2022 Congress will feature the latest and emerging topics in stroke care, for stroke professionals, researchers and policy makers. The structure of the program will allow for greater interaction, discussion, learning and networking opportunities.

The World Stroke Organization and Singapore look forward to hosting you in October 2022 for the 14th World Stroke Congress!
